Portrait of my Best Friend
My best
friend is my partner. A lot of my
friends would call their partner their best friend but I never understood the
concept. Then I meet Mark, my partner, I now do understand how your partner can
be your best friend. I can share
everything with Mark. Mark is the
perfect portrait of a best friend for me.
Everyone should have a best friend like a partner.
When I
was younger, a best friend was someone that would be a clone of me. A person who was a geek, nerd, and a
technophile. Then one day, talking to a
friend, I discovered that a best friend should be someone that completes you,
not clone you. A person that complements
your sides that do not reveal easily or areas that you do not feel secure. A person who helps you share those areas with
the world.
Mark
helps me show my artsy side, encourages me to write, play video games, and
enjoy life. I am always about how to
manage my life better, and understand the world better through science. He reminds me that there is more to life; to
enjoy it. I suggest find a best friend
in a partner. If you do, your life will
be so much better. I am sure of it. You will be able to draw your portrait easily
